"Real" Book Challenge: November!

Goal: 50
Progress: 77

I didn't realize November was such a bad "real" book challenge month until I looked it up on Goodreads.  I ended up reading a couple of ebooks so I slacked a bit. December is looking good, though!

"Real" Book Challenge - October!

October turned out to be a pretty good reading month! I really enjoyed all of these books, too! Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling was one of my most anticipated releases and it was totally worth the wait. Such a hilarious series of essay. The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness really surprised me. I knew I was going to like it but I had no idea that I was going to love it as much as I did. Read it. Same goes to Carry On and The Distance From Me to You. Both are really good (for different reasons) and they deserve to be on your TBR.

"Real " Book Challenge - September!

Goal: 50
Progress: 65

September was a slow reading month for me. I was out of the country so didn't have a lot of time to read (even though I took three books with me! Plus my kindle!). I didn't realize that I only finished two books until I looked it up so I'm a little ashamed.

"Real" Book Challenge - August!

August turned out to be an excellent "real" book month! I ended up reading a couple of five-star novels (Everything Leads to You, Illuminae, and First & Then!) so I hope September is half as good!

Real Book Challenge: June!

Goal: 50
Total: 42

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. That is all. Okay, not really but I'm in love with that book. If you haven't read it, please pick it up. The same goes for Amy & Roger's Epic Detour, The Girl on the Train, and Written in the Stars.  ICYMI, I reviewed Material Girls and The Revenge Playbook for Reading Teen and Proof of Forever for Becoming Books! :)

"Real" Book Challenge - May!

Goal: 50
Total: 34

These are the "real" books I read in May!

May was a really interesting reading month for me. I came across some of the best books I've ever read (Vicious, Saint Anything, Fun Home, Made You Up) and probably the worst book I've ever read (Those Girls).  I only have a couple of books left to meet my goal of 50 "real" books so I hope June brings more amazing books!

How many real books did you read in May? And tell me the worst book you've ever read! :)

"Real" Book Challenge: March!

These are the "real" books I read in March!

If you haven't read Pierce Brown's Red Rising and you like Science Fiction, please do! It is such a complex and interesting story. You won't regret it. While we're at it, I should make you feel bad if you haven't read Susan Ee's Angelfall. I'm kind of obsessed with this series and you should join me. Also, in case you're interested, I reviewed I Was Here over at Cuddlebuggery
